Galapagos Islands Travel
Galapagos Islands Overview
The Galapagos Islands is a small archipelago of islands belonging to Ecuador in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The islands are quite remote and isolated, lying some 620 miles west of the South American continent. The islands have a highly variable climate, as does Ecuador’s mainland. There are only two seasons in the island: the hot and rainy. It is warm and sunny from December to June, the best time to visit the islands. The peak months for visiting are April, May and November.

In Puerto Ayora you could certainly find many pubs for a drink if that was what you wanted. Shopping is a luxury in the Galapagos and everything is at a premium. However, you don’t have to worry; every item is worth the price.
