Kaiwah Island is a private community and is a property of limited access to owners and to guests of the Kaiwah Island resort. Kaiwah Island Main Attractions
Kaiwah, the private gated resort community is famous for pristine sceneries by the bodies of water. It has a 10 mile stretch of beach as well as acres of beautiful marsh and river scenery. This areas support a large number of wildlife. There are literally thousands of alligators, numerous species of birds, deer, bobcats, raccoons, and if lucky, loggerhead sea turtles can be seen coming ashore to lay their eggs.
In addition to the beach, the Kaiwah Island is also well known for golf. There are four golf courses on the island, including the world famous Ocean Course. Golf can be rather expensive however packs a lot of fun being a main attraction of the island. There is also a 21 acre park and playground called Night Heron Park which offers a soccer field and basketball courts and a large swimming pool. There are also over 30 miles of paved biking trails on the island. You also have two tennis centers and a workout facility available.

Apart from lazing out ashore on the beaches and river banks to playing golf on the four famous golf courses, there are lots of possible things to do in Kaiwah. Being a resort, guests may expect a lot of swimming going on. There are also numerous recreational facilities all over the island. With these amnesties, it says never to boredom.

Strolling by the streets outside the accommodations in Kiawah may provide a great chance of catching up with purchases from grocery stores, vintage ice cream shops, resort wear shops, a sport and leisure equipment store, along with various boutiques.
Getting To & Around Kaiwah Island
The nearest airport to this island paradise is the Charleston International Airport. There is a need to drive out to Kaiwah when using this airport. There are taxies waiting by the airport that may give a ride to Kaiwah.
