Paros is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Greek islands. The island is located at the heart of the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea. The climate in Paros is similar to other islands of Greece, typically Mediterranean, with hot and sunny summers and mild winters. The best time to visit the island is during July and August.

The famous attractions of the island are the exquisite sandy beaches in crystal waters. The beaches of Paros can simply be split into three rough categories: popular sun seeker beaches, sporty beaches and remote bays and coves. The villages of Paros are considered as one of the most beautiful villages of Greece. Almost all of the villages are impressive. Some of them are newly built to welcome a huge number of tourists. The villages are perched over huge cliffs and offer extraordinary views over the sea and the submerged volcano.

You can reach Paros by plane from most international airports via Athens. You can also reach the island by ferries during summers. Lots of ferries connect Paros to other Cyclades Islands during this season.
