Other islands are accessible using ferry rides or hydrofoils from the mainland of Greece and other islands. Regular flights from Athens and Thessaloniki and some European cities serve Mykonos. Flights in between Santorini, Mykonos and Crete are available as are ferry services between the islands as well as from Athens. Corfu has flights from Athens and some European cities. On the islands, taxis and buses are available but renting your own motorbike or 4x4 will make even the remote beaches accessible.
