Saint Kitts and Nevis are a pair of tropical islands in the Caribbean, about one-third of the way from Puerto Rico to Trinidad and Tobago. The tropical climate of the island is tempered by constant sea breezes. The island has little seasonal temperature variation making a great visit from December to April.

Saint Kitts and Nevis have fine beaches, ones of other main attraction of the island. Saint Kitts' finest beaches can be found in the southern part of the island. Of these, Sand Bank Bay is probably the best, with pristine white sand and lovely views of Nevis. Northern Saint Kitts has beaches with black and gray volcanic sand which has good snorkeling opportunity. The most famous beach on Nevis is Pinney's beach, with calm, shallow water that's perfect for wading and swimming.

Apart from the typical activities done in common tropical islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis offers a wide range of recreations for your stay. The islands have the Saint Kitts Scenic Railway. Riding the Rails provide a quick view of the islands sightseeing and tours. There are also some other tours around the island for in depth catching up to the island's culture and history. You can also go for casino gaming, cycling, fishing, golf, and diving.

Saint Kitts and Nevis has the finest resorts you can ever wish for. One of these is the Four Seasons on Nevis. It is perhaps the island's finest hotel, with beautiful reflecting pool, a good choice of restaurants, plus tons and tons of activities for children of all ages. Another is the Saint Kitts Marriott Resort. It the island's biggest Hotel, drawing the majority of US visitors to the island. Most of the restaurants on St. Kitts serve continental cuisine flavored with local spices or using locally caught seafood like spiny lobster and crab. The food on Nevis is less reflective of international tastes. Local favorites include curries; roti, a thin pastry filled with curried potatoes, chickpeas and meat; and pelau, which is a combination of rice, pigeon peas and meat.

Nightlife in Saint Kitts and Nevis is never a quiet one for they have nightlife centers; South Frigate for Saint Kitts and Four Seasons for Nevis. One of the island's cities, the Marriott, has one of the largest 24-hour casinos in the Caribbean and features tale games, slots, and a race book. St. Kitts and Nevis shopping is considerably huge for the availability of art galleries, duty-free shops, fashion accessories, jewelry and specialty shops.
Getting To & Around St Kitts | Nevis
Daily flights are available from San Juan, PR on American Eagle, as well as through British Virgin Islands. American Airlines flies three times a week from Miami (more flights during the tourist season). American Airlines now fly twice a week to New York. Delta Airlines have nonstop service to Saint Kitts from Atlanta. US Airways has direct flights from Charlotte. American Airlines has also offered charter flights direct from Dallas.
