These amazing creatures are of the size of a small dog but stocky and muscular. As it feeds, nothing goes to waste for they eat everything to the bone.

Tasmania is served by several national and regional airlines, primarily flying into Hobart and Launceston. Some flights are also available to Burnie and Devonport from Melbourne. Tasmania is served by Spirit of Tasmania Ferries from mainland Australia. They depart daily from Station Pier in Port Melbourne and arrive at Devonport taking the full night for the crossing.
