Accommodations exist only at the two extremes, either an expensive tropical resort if you like your holidays private and luxurious, or a campground. What is even more exhilarating about Lizard Island is that vacationers are allowed to camp out! While it is required to get permission from the National Park, it is probable to reside a few nights or even a day at the camp ground. This is a wonderful way to experience the outdoors. You'll be advised to bring your own food if you prefer camping. However, if you're staying at Voyages hotel, all of the meals are included. The quality and presentation is appropriate to the nature of this resort.

Nightlife is very casual in Lizard Island. The great way to enjoy nightlife in the island is setting up some campfire and having the company of your friends. Getting To & Around Lizard Island
Lizard Island has a small airport (code LZR). Travelers can fly from Cairns via Hinterland Aviation, but must book to Voyages Australian Resorts. Some dive boats from Cairns are bound to Lizard Island if you prefer to camp.
