Getting To & Around Heron Island

You can reach the island using the resort catamaran that leaves from Gladstone by 10:30 AM. Alternatively, you can go by helicopter operated by Australian Helicopters. This provides an excellent view of the reefs and islands and is fantastic. However, it is even more expensive than using catamarans.
