The Surin Island is situated in the Andaman Sea. It is 60 km from the coast of Phang-Nga province in the southern peninsular region and northwest of Phuket. The island has a sunny tropical climate, having two classified seasons consisting of the hot season and rainy season. The best time to visit the island is during the hot season and that’s from mid February to May.

Getting To & Around Surin Islands
You can reach Surin Island via plane. Take a plane to Ranong Airport or Phuket Airport, and then take a car to Amphoe Khuraburi of Phang-Nga province. You may also use a boat ride to reach the island. Charter a boat from any of the major piers in any of Phang-Nga, Phuket or Ranong provinces. From Khao Lak, charter a boat from any beachside location or zip up to the village of Ban Hin Lat for the easiest access from the mainland.
