Quan Lan Island belongs to Bai Tu Long Bay; part of an island range on the outside of the gulf of Bac Bo. The Vietnamese island experiences a humid tropical climate with two distinct seasons, hot and wet. The best time to visit the island is from the months of March to May to avoid the wet and rainy season.

Getting To & Around Quan Lan
Once you get to Vietnam on any airline of your choosing, you can get to Quan Lan by driving to Halong, taking the ferry to Hong Gai, transferring to a different port and taking a local boat to Quan Lan. It takes 3.5 hours and currently leaves around 1PM (local) every day.
