Phu Quoc Overview
Phu Quoc Island is situated in the Gulf of Thailand west of Ha Tien on the Vietnamese mainland. The island is very mountainous and densely forested. The island has a monsoonal sub-equatorial climate characterized by distinct rainy season from June to November and dry season from December to May. The best months to visit the island are during April and May. The island is in its hottest on these months.
