Koh Phi Phi Overview
Koh Phi Phi is a small archipelago located at the south east of Phuket Thailand. `There are 5 main islands in the Koh Phi Phi beach. The largest is the Koh Phi Phi don next is the Koh Phi Phi leh where the hit movie the beach was filmed, this is the island where Leonardo de Caprio became insane, next is the Ko Phai which is also known as bamboo island by the locals it is located at the north of the archipelago this is where beaches are great and a lot to. The best month to travel to its tropical climate is when the sand are not that dry and the night is clear. Those categories fall on the months between November and April.
Koh Phi Phi Main Attractions
The second island of the archipelago is popular because of the movie 'The Beach'. The island still remains the same but is converted to become more commercial than the movie. Although Leo and the others are like outcasts in this paradise the present beach is more accommodating to tourists and visitors.
Other places you can enjoy in the island are the Bida Nok and Bida Nai. Both of these milestones are located in the Koh Phi Phi leh. The two milestones are a great place to hang out and feel the blue ocean. Although Koh Phi Phi was devastated and destroyed by the tsunami in 2004, the present Koh Phi Phi is now well equipped and is ready to face the long line of beach and resort game.

There are lots of things you can do in Koh Phi Phi much like the movie tourists can enjoy the white sand and blue waters. They can also enjoy playing beach volleyball or just sun bathe at the white sand. Tourists can also enjoy snorkeling and swimming, tourists can also hike the mountains and feel the forests first hand. You can do all of this in he island just don’t get your self insane like Leo in the movie.

Before the place was completely commercialized the island has no hotels, they only have inns which are own by the locals and is very cheap for its price. Today the Koh Phi Phi has its own 5 star hotel which can serve international food for tourists. There are lots of restaurants in Koh Phi Phi, too many to mention but its an assurance that the restaurants have great cooks that can serve delicious food anytime the customer.
Koh Phi Phi Shopping & Nightlife
Same as the other beaches in Thailand, the beaches here in Koh Phi Phi also has a great and lively nightlife. This place in Thailand especially at summer time never runs out of parties at the beach or anywhere else in the island. Shop till you drop with the souvenirs hand made and man made by the locals.
Getting To & Around Koh Phi Phi
You can visit via Koh Phi Phi via plane and boat. The range of the fare is about 700 to 800 baht. There are boats that are willing to take passengers to the island. It’s a fun and exciting way of transporting tourists into the island since you can have a first tour around the island before you can step on it.
