Hainan Overview

Hainan Main Attractions
Among other great attractions, Sanya Beach in Hainan prides itself to be Hainan’s top tourist stop. Aside from the azure waters of the Sanya beach, the Deer Turns or also known as the Luhuitou Park is the most frequented place by tourists. The large stone statue above Sanya tells the story of a hunter pursuing a deer to an isolated cliff in the sea. When the deer found the situation inescapable, it turned to look at the hunter and changed into a beautiful woman. Instead of killing the deer which has turned into a woman, the hunter fell in love with her. This story made Luhuitou a place for lovers that it has been practiced for people to leave a padlock on a chain at the top of the mountain with the hope of keeping their love to last a lifetime, as the lock remains intact.
Other attractions in Hainan are the Baishi ridge scenic zone, the Wanquan River, the Guantang hot spring resort, the Qizhishan, Yalong bay national resort, the Dongjiao coconut plantation and the Hairui tomb.
