Cebu Overview
Cebu is a long narrow beach island located at the Philippines. The province itself is filled with great beaches and weather. The weather in Cebu is promising since it has less rainfall every year meaning the island will always be sunny for you except on rainy seasons, it is also located outside the earthquake belt and also there is no known active volcano located in the island. It is best to visit Cebu during the summer season which is end of March up to end of May.

The best known tourists’ attraction in Cebu is the well known islands of the Camotes. The island consist mainly into four groups of islands namely Pajican Island, Poro Island, Ponson Island and lastly Tulang Island. These four islands of the Camotes group of island has inspired and captured the hearts of many tourists who visited and experienced the beauty of the region. In the municipality of San Francisco you can see the well known lake Danao which is 77 hectare wide, the lake is once awarded as the cleanest inland lake in the region along with its 8 shape and also it is the largest lake in Cebu region.
Aside from the well known Camotes Island there are also other tourists attractions located at Cebu with the same quality as the first mentioned. The Malapascua Island is one of the best sand beaches in Cebu, the name Malapascua means unfortunate Christmas but it is the total opposite since the beaches in Malapascua can be closely compared to the white sand beaches of Boracay also in Philippines. Aloguinsan Cebu is located at the southwestern coast and is named the jewel of its region. It is because Aloguinsan is blessed with great picture perfect rivers, white beaches and lastly it has wide range of marine sanctuaries and sea foods are abundant in the area. Sandy beaches, great rivers, solemn lakes, you name Cebu has it; truly Cebu has many ways to make tourists enjoy their summer.
