Borneo is the third largest island in the world, it can be found between the countries of Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. The two states of Sarawak and Sabah make up the Malaysian part of the Borneo island and are separated from West Malaysia. Borneo experiences a typical equatorial climate and has abundant sunshine through out the year. Rainy season is between November to January during the northeastern monsoon. Dry season on the other hand runs from May to September.
